Pep Sala (born July 17, 1960) is a talented Catalan musician, songwriter, and record producer. He is best known for being part of the popular band Sau in the 1990s, where he played alongside singer Carles Sabater.

Early Life and Music

Pep Sala was born in Vic, Catalonia, Spain. From a young age, he showed a great interest in music. He learned to play several instruments and started writing his own songs.

Sau: A Popular Band

In the 1980s, Pep Sala teamed up with singer Carles Sabater to form the band Sau. They became one of the most important groups in the rock català movement, which was a style of rock music sung in the Catalan language. Sau became very popular in the 1990s, and their songs were loved by many fans. They released several successful albums and performed many concerts.

Other Music Projects

Besides Sau, Pep Sala has been involved in other music groups, like La Banda del Bar. After Sau, he started his own solo career in 1999, continuing to write and perform music.
