Peter Alsop (born September 18, 1946) is an American musician. He writes and performs many kinds of songs. His music includes funny songs for grown-ups and special songs for children.

About Peter Alsop

Peter Alsop went to Trinity College and earned a degree in religion in 1968. He also studied at Columbia University Teachers College. Later, he earned an advanced degree in how people learn from Columbia Pacific University.

He worked at a special school in Maine for young people facing challenges. He was also an elementary school teacher in New York City. In 1975, Peter Alsop married actress Ellen Geer. They live in Topanga, California. They have two daughters, Megan and Willow. Peter Alsop also has several grandchildren.
