Philippa Fisher and the Dream Maker's Daughter is an exciting children's fantasy novel. It was written by Liz Kessler, who also created the popular Emily Windsnap series. The lovely illustrations are by Katie May. This book is the second adventure in the Philippa Fisher series. It continues the story from Philippa Fisher's Fairy Godsister, which came out in 2008. Philippa Fisher and the Dream Maker's Daughter was first published in the U.K. in May 2009 by Orion Books. Later that year, Candlewick Press released a U.S. edition.

What's the Story About?
Philippa Fisher is feeling quite lonely. She really misses her special fairy godsister, Daisy. But things start to look up when Philippa goes on vacation with her parents.
A New Friend and a Mystery
While on holiday, Philippa meets a local girl named Robyn. Philippa is thrilled to have a friend again. However, she can't shake the feeling that something is a little strange about Robyn and her father. There's a secret waiting to be discovered.
Daisy's Risky Visit
Meanwhile, Daisy is busy with a new fairy mission. But she misses Philippa just as much! So, Daisy decides to break some important fairy rules. She secretly visits her friend. The girls are very happy to be together again.
Danger and a Race Against Time
Soon after Daisy arrives, her important fairy assignment starts to go very wrong. Things become quite dangerous for everyone. When Philippa, Daisy, and Robyn all find themselves in trouble, Philippa knows she must act fast. She has to work quickly to save her friends and herself from the growing danger.
