Phillipstown is a small area, called a suburb, in the city of Christchurch, New Zealand. It's located south-east of the city centre. Important streets like Cashel Street, Aldwins Road, Ferry Road, and Fitzgerald Avenue form its borders.
A special old building, the Church of the Good Shepherd, used to be in Phillipstown. It was a very important heritage site. Sadly, it was taken down after the big 2011 Christchurch earthquake in 2011.
