Pia Merete Tjelta, born on September 12, 1977, in Stavanger, Norway, is a talented Norwegian actress. She has starred in many films and TV shows.
Pia Tjelta started her acting journey early. She made her first film appearance in 2001 in a movie called Mongoland. She then studied at the Norwegian National Academy of Theatre, graduating in 2006. Even before she finished her studies, she was already acting in films.
In 2006, Pia Tjelta also began acting on stage. Her first play was Fyrverkerimakarens dotter at Det Norske Teatret. The next year, in 2007, she played the character Maria in the play "Få meg på, for faen" at the same theater.
One of her notable roles was in the romantic comedy Mars og Venus in 2007. She played the main character, Ida. This film was very popular and brought her a lot of attention. In 2014, Pia Tjelta also worked with designer Tine Mollatt to create her own collection of dresses.
