Pija Lindenbaum (born Pia Margareta Lindenbaum on April 27, 1955, in Sundsvall, Sweden) is a super talented Swedish artist, writer, and designer. She is famous for creating wonderful children's books. Pija writes the stories and draws the amazing pictures too! Her books are loved by kids and grown-ups all over the world.
She was even a member of the Swedish Academy for Children's Books from 1999 to 2007. This is a special group that helps promote children's literature in Sweden. Pija also drew the pictures for the popular Tsatsiki books, which were written by Moni Nilsson-Brännström.
