Piotr Szulkin (born April 26, 1950 – died August 3, 2018) was a famous Polish film director and writer. He made more than thirty films during his career. These films were both Polish and international productions.
He was known for his unique style, especially in science fiction movies. In 1984, he even won an award for "Best Science Fiction Film Director" at an event called Eurocon. Later in his life, he also taught students at the National Film School in Łódź, sharing his knowledge about filmmaking.
