Piyapong Pue-on (born Padej Khankruea on November 14, 1959) is a famous former Thai football player. He was known as a fantastic striker, which means he was great at scoring goals. Piyapong played for the Thailand national team for many years. He also played for a South Korean team called Lucky-Goldstar FC.

Playing for Clubs
Piyapong played for several football clubs during his career. He spent many years with the Royal Thai Air Force team. He also played for teams in South Korea and Malaysia.
Time with Lucky-Goldstar FC
In August 1984, Piyapong joined the Lucky-Goldstar FC club in South Korea. This team plays in the K League, which is a top football league.
He made a great start, scoring in his very first game on September 8, 1984. In 1985, Piyapong helped Lucky-Goldstar FC become the K League champions. He scored 12 goals and helped set up 6 others that season.
Playing for Thailand
Piyapong was a key player for the Thailand national team. He played for his country for 16 years, from 1981 to 1997. He played in 100 international matches. During these games, he scored an amazing 70 goals for Thailand.
Coaching Career
After he stopped playing, Piyapong became a football coach. He coached the Royal Thai Air Force football club for many years. He led the team from 1997 until 2008.

Piyapong also appeared in a movie! He was in the 2004 film called Born to Fight.
