Playacar is a special area in Playa del Carmen, Mexico, designed for fun and relaxation. It's like a private neighborhood within the city, known for its beautiful resorts and homes.

Located in the sunny state of Quintana Roo, Playacar is part of the Solidaridad municipality. It's a "gated community," which means it has controlled entrances for safety and privacy. Playacar has grown right alongside Playa del Carmen, just south of the main city area. If you're coming from Cancun, it's about a 40-minute drive.
