Pokémon: Twilight Wings facts for kids
Pokémon: Twilight Wings (薄明の翼, Hakumei no Tsubasa) is a Japanese animated series you can watch online. It was created by Studio Colorido and shared on YouTube by The Pokémon Company. This series is inspired by the popular video games Pokémon Sword and Shield. However, it's not part of the main television show. It's more like special side stories, similar to Origins and Generations.
Seven episodes were first announced on December 12, 2019. Each episode is about six minutes long. The first episode came out on January 15, 2020. New episodes were planned to be released every month. But, the fifth episode was delayed from May to June because of the COVID-19 pandemic. The series first ended on August 6, 2020, with its seventh episode. Later, a special eighth episode was released. It was called "The Gathering of Stars" (EXPANSION ~星の祭~). This episode was based on extra content for the Pokémon Sword and Shield games. This content included The Isle of Armor and The Crown Tundra. The special episode first aired in Japanese on November 5, 2020. It came out in English on November 17, 2020.

This episode follows Pokémon Gym Leader Bea. She has just lost a battle to Champion Leon. Bea feels sad after her loss. She decides to train with her Pokémon in the desert. With their help, Bea gets ready for a rematch against Leon.

Hop looks up to his older brother, Leon, and Leon's Charizard. This makes Hop's own Pokémon, Wooloo, feel unimportant. Wooloo runs away, and Hop goes to find his friend. Wooloo meets Gym Leader Milo and learns that Hop would never think less of him. Hop and Wooloo reunite, and Hop says sorry.

Nessa feels confused. Then, she meets a Milotic she knew as a Feebas when she was little. She decides to do her best at both jobs.

This episode shows a day in the life of Oleana. She is the Vice President of Macro Cosmos. She is also Chairman Rose's assistant and secretary. Oleana makes sure the company runs smoothly when the Chairman is away. Rose hired her because she was very determined to study Dynamax energy.
