Polyclinic Medical Center, also called Polyclinic Hospital, is a special kind of clinic in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. It is part of UPMC Pinnacle. This is a big healthcare system that helps people in South Central Pennsylvania.

The Polyclinic Hospital's Story
The Polyclinic Medical Center first opened its doors in 1909. Today, a large part of the building is home to the Pennsylvania Psychiatric Institute. This institute helps people with their mental health.
What Services Does Polyclinic Offer?
Other parts of the building offer many different health programs. These include physical and occupational therapy. They also have an audiology and hearing center. There is a clinic for HIV care and an outpatient lab. You can also find a primary care office there. Some programs help people with health challenges.
The Hospital Building's History
The very first hospital building on this spot was built between 1925 and 1926. Over the years, more parts were added. These additions happened in 1949–1952, 1955, 1959, and 1960. The building's design is in the Colonial Revival style. This style looks back to older American building designs. In 2004, the hospital was added to the National Register of Historic Places. This means it is an important historical site.
