Welcome to the Porsche Museum!

The Porsche Museum is located at Porsche-Platz in a town called Zuffenhausen. This special museum first opened its doors in 2009. It was built to share the exciting story of Porsche cars with visitors from all over the world. Inside, you can explore how Porsche cars have changed over many years.

What You Can See Inside

The museum has a huge collection of cars. You can see more than 80 vehicles on display. These include rare racing cars, sports cars, and even some cars that were never sold to the public. Each car tells a part of Porsche's history and how they became so famous.

Amazing Race Cars

Many of the cars at the museum are famous race cars. These cars were built for speed and winning championships. For example, you can see the Porsche 917. This car was very fast and won many races in the 1970s. Another cool car is the Porsche 956C, which also had a great racing history. You might even spot a Formula 1 car that used a Porsche engine!

Cool Concept Cars

Besides race cars, the museum also shows off some unique concept cars. These are special cars that were designed to test new ideas. They often look very different from cars you see on the road. It's exciting to see how designers imagined the future of cars.

Building the Museum

Building the Porsche Museum was a big project. It took several years to complete. Workers started building it long before it opened in 2009. You can see pictures of the museum while it was still being built. It shows how much effort went into creating this amazing building.
