Princess Victoria's Wrestling Career
Vickie Otis started her wrestling journey in Portland, Oregon. She was trained by a famous wrestler named Sandy Barr.
Early Matches and Rivalries
When she was starting out, Vickie Otis had many matches against another wrestler trained by Sandy Barr, named Velvet McIntyre. They often competed against each other in both single matches and tag team matches. These exciting matches took place in a wrestling promotion called Vancouver All Star Wrestling.
Joining the National Wrestling Alliance (1980–1983)
Vickie Otis and Velvet McIntyre continued their wrestling rivalry in a group called NWA Pacific Northwest. This group was run by Don Owen. Over time, their rivalry turned into a friendship. They decided to team up and became a very strong tag team.
As a team, they won the WWF Women's Tag Team Championship. This big win happened on May 13, 1984, in Calgary, Alberta, Canada.
Wrestling in the World Wrestling Federation (1983–1984)
In 1983, the World Wrestling Federation (WWF) became a separate wrestling group. When Princess Victoria and Velvet McIntyre joined the WWF in 1984, they were immediately known as the champions. They held the WWF Women's Tag Team Championship.
They defended their championship many times. They had tough matches against teams like Wendi Richter and Peggy Lee. One of their most famous matches was on April 23, 1984, at Madison Square Garden.
Sadly, on September 1, 1984, Princess Victoria got a serious neck injury. This happened while she was defending her tag team title in Philadelphia. Because of this injury, she had to stop wrestling. The championship she held was later retired. Another wrestler, Desiree Petersen, took Princess Victoria's place in the WWF.
While in the WWF, Princess Victoria also wrestled in single matches. She challenged the WWF Women's Champion, The Fabulous Moolah. The Fabulous Moolah was also one of Princess Victoria's trainers.

Before moving to Washington, Vickie Otis lived in Virginia. There, she spent her time helping animals at the South Hampton County Animal Shelter. She is now retired from professional wrestling and lives in Washington.
