Querévalo is a small village and a special type of local area called a corregimiento in Panama. It is found in the Alanje District within the Chiriquí Province. This village is located close to a place called Canas Blancas.
Querévalo sits on both sides of the Río Chico, which is also known as the Stone River. The total land area of Querévalo is about 34.5 square kilometers (13.3 square miles). In 2010, about 1,751 people lived here. This means there were about 50.8 people living in each square kilometer. The population has grown over the years, from 1,402 people in 1990 to 1,536 in 2000.

Life in Querévalo
Querévalo has important places that help the community. There are two elementary schools where children can learn. One school is in the main part of Querévalo, and the other is in a section called River Edge.
