Quique Dacosta's Amazing Career
Quique Dacosta is in charge of the food at the Hotel Mandarin Oriental Ritz in Madrid. One of his restaurants there, called Deessa, earned its first Michelin star very quickly after it opened. Michelin stars are like special awards for restaurants that serve amazing food!
Chef Dacosta has won many important awards. These include the Gold Medal for Merit in the Fine Arts and being named the Best Spanish Restaurateur. His cooking often gets ideas from the beautiful Mediterranean Sea and the Montgó Natural Park.
