Régis Lacote was born in France in 1972. He studied at two important schools. In 1997, he finished his studies at ESIEE Amiens, which is an engineering school. He also earned a special advanced degree in airport management from the ENAC. ENAC is a famous school for aviation in France.
Career in Aviation
Régis Lacote started his career in 1998. His first job was as a Safety Manager at the Roland Garros Airport. This means he was in charge of making sure everything at the airport was safe for travelers and staff.
In 2002, he joined the Paris Aéroport group. This company manages several airports around Paris. He worked in different important roles within this group for many years.
Leading Major Airports
In February 2018, Régis Lacote became the CEO of Orly Airport. As CEO, he was the main person in charge of running the entire airport. He made big decisions and oversaw all its operations.
Later, in November 2022, he was given an even bigger role. He became the CEO of Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport. This airport is much larger than Orly and serves millions of passengers every year. He took over this role from another leader named Marc Houalla.
