Who is RP Boo?
RP Boo was born in West Chicago. He started his career as a DJ and dancer. He worked with a group called House-O-Matics. This group was known for making "juke" and "house" music.
He also made mixtapes, which are collections of songs. He even helped with the music for the Bud Billiken Parade. This is a big parade in Chicago.
How He Makes Music
RP Boo's early songs were released by himself. These songs were very important for the start of the footwork music style. He creates his music using special electronic tools.
He uses a Roland R-70 drum machine. This machine helps him make cool drum beats. He also uses an Akai S01 digital sampler. A sampler lets him record sounds and then play them back in new ways.
