Raquel González Campos is a talented Olympic athlete from Spain. She is known for her amazing race walking skills and represents the famous Futbol Club Barcelona. Raquel was born on November 16, 1989.
She has competed in many big events around the world. These include the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, and the World Championships in Beijing, China, and Doha, Qatar. Raquel's journey began with junior championships. In 2007, she finished 11th in the 10,000 meters walk at the European Junior Championships. The next year, she competed in the World Junior Championships.
As she grew older, she moved to under-23 championships. She placed 8th in the 20 km walk at the European U23 Championships in 2009. In 2013, Raquel won a silver medal at the Mediterranean Games in Mersin, Turkey, for the 20 km walk. This was one of her first big medals!

Raquel holds some impressive Spanish records. She is the Spanish Record Holder for the 10 km race walk with a time of 42 minutes and 14 seconds. She also holds the Spanish Record for the 50 km race walk, completing it in 4 hours, 11 minutes, and 1 second.
She was also part of the Spanish team that won a bronze medal at the World Racewalking Cup in Taicang, China, in 2018. In 2019, she earned a bronze medal in the European Cup 20 km race walk in Alytus.
