Rason ministry facts for kids
The Rason Ministry was like a special team of leaders for the Government of Western Australia. It was the 8th such team and was led by Premier Hector Rason. This team took over on 25 August 1905, after the previous government, led by the Labor party, lost the support of the parliament and had to step down. The Rason Ministry then served until 7 May 1906, when a new team, the Moore Ministry, took over, led by Newton Moore.

The Rason Ministry was a group of important people who helped run the government of Western Australia. Think of them as a cabinet or a leadership team. Each person in the Ministry was called a "Minister" and was in charge of a specific area, like schools, mines, or roads.
How the Rason Ministry Started
On 25 August 1905, the Governor, Admiral Sir Frederick Bedford, officially announced the main jobs that needed to be filled in the government. These jobs were set up under a law called the Constitution Acts Amendment Act of 1899. After these jobs were announced, the following people were chosen to be the Ministers and they served until the Rason Ministry ended.
