Raymond Matthew Neufeld, born on April 15, 1959, is a Canadian who used to play professional ice hockey. He was a right winger, which is a player who skates on the right side of the ice. Ray started his life in Winkler, Manitoba.

Today, he works in the oil industry. He also stays involved with hockey by helping scout young players in Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba. Before that, he was a radio commentator for the Winnipeg Jets games. He also helped coach and manage the Winnipeg Blues, a junior hockey team.

Ray Neufeld began his professional hockey career with the Hartford Whalers. He played for the Whalers for several years.

Moving to the Jets

On November 21, 1985, Ray was traded to the Winnipeg Jets. This trade involved another player named Dave Babych. Ray played for the Jets for a few seasons.

Finishing with the Bruins

Later, on December 30, 1988, Ray was traded again. This time, he went to the Boston Bruins in exchange for Moe Lemay. Ray finished his professional playing career with the Bruins about two years later, in 1990.
