Raymond Vitte (1949–1983) was an American actor. He was known for his roles in comedy and drama films. Ray Vitte appeared in movies during the 1970s and early 1980s. He also made many guest appearances on television shows. In 1976, he was a regular cast member on the TV show Doc.

Ray Vitte appeared in several popular films. One of his notable roles was Geronimo in the 1976 movie Car Wash. He also played Bobby Speed in Thank God It's Friday in 1978. Another well-known role was Eddie in the 1980 film 9 to 5.
He also had roles in many TV series. He played Officer T.J. Epps in David Cassidy: Man Undercover. In 1981, he appeared on Gimme a Break as a character named Ken. His final TV series was "The Quest" in 1982.

Ray Vitte's Later Life and Passing
Ray Vitte's final TV show, "The Quest," was canceled in November 1982. Only five episodes had aired. Sadly, Ray Vitte passed away just three months later in February 1983.
Health Challenges
In the weeks before his death, Ray Vitte had a chronic fever. His temperature sometimes reached as high as 104 degrees Fahrenheit. He had many medical tests done just eight days before he died. The official cause of his death was reported as sickle cell disease and related complications.
