Rebecca Elgar is an English artist who creates books and TV shows for children. She was born in Lincoln. Rebecca is most famous for creating the TV series Driver Dan's Story Train. She also designed the characters for another popular show called Boo! and drew pictures for books based on it.
Both Driver Dan's Story Train and Boo! have been shown on CBeebies. Driver Dan's Story Train can also be seen on PBS Kids Sprout and ABC2. The TV series Boo! was even nominated for a BAFTA award, which is a big honor in television.

About Rebecca Elgar
Rebecca Elgar is known for her creative work that helps young children enjoy reading. In an interview with the BBC, she shared that one of her main goals when making Driver Dan's Story Train was to "bring a love of books and reading to young children."
Her Journey to Children's Books
Rebecca studied graphic design at Norwich School of Art. After finishing her studies, she began her career in publishing. She worked as a book designer and even contributed to Playdays magazine. Eventually, she decided to focus on illustrating and writing her own books.
