Redhaw, Ohio facts for kids
Red Haw is a small place in Ashland County, Ohio. It's called an unincorporated community. This means it's a group of homes and businesses that isn't officially a town or city with its own local government. Instead, it's part of the larger county.
History
Red Haw used to have a different name. For a while, it was known as Lafayette. This area was first planned out and settled in the year 1835.
Later, in 1867, a post office opened in Red Haw. A post office is where people send and receive mail. It was an important place for the community to connect with others. The Red Haw post office stayed open for many years, until 1904.
