The neighborhood is home to the Tucker Maxon School. This school is sometimes used by the Reed Neighborhood Association for their meetings. This helps the community stay connected and make decisions together.

Long ago, this area was famous for something called Lambert Gardens. These were beautiful gardens, but they were replaced by houses in 1968. Now, families live where the gardens once bloomed.
