Renée Jones is an American actress who used to star in TV shows. She is most famous for her role as Lexie Carver on the popular TV show Days of Our Lives. She started playing Lexie in 1993. For her acting, Renée was nominated five times for the NAACP Image Award for Best Actress in a Daytime TV Show.

Early Life and Career Beginnings
Renée Jones was born on October 15, 1958, in Opa-locka, Florida. She grew up in a big family with five brothers and sisters. As a young person, she lived in both Georgia and New York. Before she became an actress, Renée worked as a secretary.
When she was 19 years old, Renée signed up with the Ford Modeling agency. This was her first step into the entertainment world.
Starting Her Acting Journey
Renée Jones began her acting career on a TV series called The White Shadow. She first appeared on Days of Our Lives in the early 1980s. In that show, she played a character named Nikki Wade.
Later, in February 1993, she returned to Days of Our Lives. This time, she took on a new and very important role as Lexie Carver. This role became the one she was most known for.
Leaving Acting
In April 2012, Renée Jones shared some news in an interview. She said that she would be leaving her role as Lexie Carver after many years. She also decided to retire from acting completely. Renée explained that she wanted to live a simpler life and was not happy with acting anymore.
