Rena Gasimova finished her studies in 1985. She went to the Azerbaijan Polytechnic Institute and learned all about computers and how machines work automatically.

After graduating, Rena started working at the Azerbaijani Academy of Sciences. She helped create many computer systems. For example, she worked on a special system to manage information for "The Court of Auditors." She also helped build a system called "Personnel" for managing staff information.
