The Revenue Act of 1766 was a law made by the Parliament of Great Britain. It was created because people had problems with an earlier law called the Sugar Act of 1764. This new act was passed around the same time as the Free Port Act of 1767.
The Revenue Act of 1766 was later removed from the law books by the Statute Law Revision Act 1867.
