Rew is a small community in Pennsylvania, a state in the United States. It is called a census-designated place (CDP). This means it's an area that the government counts for population. However, it is not an officially organized city or town with its own local government.
Rew is located in McKean County, Pennsylvania. It sits almost exactly halfway between the city of Bradford and the town of Smethport. Smethport is also the county seat, which means it's where the main government offices for McKean County are located.
One interesting place in Rew is the Bradford Speedway. This track was once famous for hosting a NASCAR race in 1958. A well-known driver named Junior Johnson won that race.
Rew's Location and Landscape
Rew is found at the very top of a steep hill. This is where two important roads, Pennsylvania Route 46 and Pennsylvania Route 646, cross paths.
The community is also close to where three different townships meet. These townships are Foster, Otto, and Keating Townships.
