About Riccardo De Pra

Riccardo De Pra grew up in a town called Alpago in Italy. Cooking runs in his family! His father, Enzo De Pra, is also a famous chef with a Michelin Star. Their family owns a restaurant called DOLADA, which is one of the oldest Michelin-star restaurants in Italy. It has been run by his family for almost 100 years. Riccardo is known for his "Artistic Cuisine." This means he mixes traditional cooking with new and creative ways to prepare food.

His Journey as a Chef

Riccardo started cooking when he was very young. When he was 20, he moved to Japan to improve his cooking skills. There, he learned from master chefs like Hirohisa Koyama and Hiroyuki Kanda. He became very good at Japanese cooking.

Over his career, Riccardo has worked with many other famous chefs. These include Ferran Adrià, Albert Roux, Jean-Pierre Bruneau, and Gualtiero Marchesi. Early in his career, he also worked for the Roux Brothers in Britain.

Today, Riccardo works as a helper for different food and design companies. He also teaches at the University of Gastronomic Sciences in Pollenzo, Italy. He is known as an expert in traditional Italian cooking. Because of his skills, he was chosen to cook for the wedding of George Clooney and Amal Alamuddin.

He has also appeared in commercials for Bergader Italia on LA7.
