Richie has worked for many fashion brands, including Gypsy Sport, Andreas Kronthaler, MISBHV, Fleur du Mal, and Rachel Comey.

In March 2021, Richie Shazam joined IMG Models, a major modeling agency.

Richie studied international relations at Trinity College. They also studied abroad in South Africa and Argentina. After college, Richie worked at several art galleries and museums.

Richie identifies as non-binary, which means they do not identify as only a boy or only a girl. They also express themselves in ways often seen as feminine. In 2021, Richie began a relationship with Ben Draghi.
