The Story of Richville
Richville got its start a long time ago, in the year 1860. It was named "Richville" because the people who settled there thought the soil was very rich and good for farming.
For a while, Richville also had another name: Helwig. There was even a post office there called Helwig. This post office opened in 1895 and helped people send and receive letters. It stayed open for about ten years, closing down in 1905.
