Ritva Valkama-Palo (born Ritva Karin Valkama; November 13, 1932 – May 8, 2020) was a famous Finnish actress. She was well-known for her funny roles and appeared in many plays, movies, and TV shows.
Ritva became very popular in Finland because of the TV series Parempi myöhään... (1979–1980). She starred in the show with actor Pentti Siimes. People often thought they were a married couple because they worked together so well! Ritva also acted in movies starting in 1954.
Ritva Valkama's father, Reino Adolf Valkama, was also an actor.
She was married to actor Pertti Palo from 1957 until he passed away in 2010. They had three daughters together.
