Robbert de Greef (born 27 August 1991 – died 25 April 2019) was a talented Dutch cyclist. He was known for riding in road cycling races. Robbert was part of the Alecto Cycling Team team when he passed away.

Robbert de Greef was born in Geldrop, a town in the Netherlands. From a young age, he showed a passion for cycling. He grew up to become a professional road cyclist, competing in many races.
His Cycling Journey
Robbert started his cycling career as an amateur in 2012. He rode for a few different teams during his time as a professional. These teams included Cycling Team Jo Piels, Koga Cycling Team, Cyclingteam de Rijke, Baby-Dump Cyclingteam, and Roompot–Nederlandse Loterij. He eventually returned to the Alecto Cycling Team team in 2019.
Road cycling is a sport where cyclists race on paved roads. It requires a lot of strength, endurance, and strategy. Robbert was a dedicated rider who worked hard to achieve his goals in the sport.
Major Achievements
Throughout his career, Robbert de Greef had several important results in cycling races. These achievements showed his skill and determination as a cyclist.

On April 1, 2019, Robbert de Greef had a serious medical emergency during a race called the Omloop van de Braakman. He was taken to the hospital. Sadly, he passed away a few weeks later, on April 25, 2019, in Antwerp, Belgium. His death was a sad loss for the cycling community.
