Robert Aldworth was born in Bristol around the year 1624. When he was about 14 years old, in 1638, he started studying at Lincoln College, Oxford. This is a famous university in England.
Becoming a Lawyer
After his studies, Robert Aldworth went on to train as a lawyer. In 1647, he was "called to the bar" at Lincoln's Inn. This means he officially became a barrister, which is a type of lawyer who can argue cases in court. Lincoln's Inn is one of the four main places in London where lawyers are trained.

Serving in Parliament

After the Protectorate, in 1660, Aldworth was elected as a Member of Parliament again. This time, he represented the town of Devizes. He served in the Convention Parliament, which was a special Parliament that helped bring back the monarchy to England.
Later Life
In 1674, Robert Aldworth took on another important role. He became the treasurer of Lincoln's Inn, the place where he had trained as a lawyer. This position meant he was in charge of the finances for the legal institution. He passed away on March 20, 1676.
