Robert Campbell (born April 18, 1951 – died May 28, 2004) was a talented American artist and writer. He was born in Marshall, Texas.
Robert loved art and studied it for two years at Stephen F. Austin State University. After his studies, he moved to Los Angeles. There, his art was shown at a place called Gallerie Rabindra.
Robert's Creative Work
During the 1980s and 1990s, Robert Campbell worked behind the scenes in entertainment. He was a scenic painter. This means he painted the backgrounds and sets for:
- MTV music videos
- Movies
- Theater plays
He even appeared in a music video himself! Robert played himself in the Kenny Loggins music video for the song "Vox Humana."
Becoming a Publisher
In 2002, Robert Campbell helped start a company called Brass Tacks Press. This company publishes books.
