Rochelle Aytes is an American actress and model. She is well-known for playing April Malloy in the ABC drama series Mistresses from 2013 to 2016. She also voiced the character Rochelle in the popular video game Left 4 Dead 2 in 2009.

Aytes has appeared in many other TV shows and movies. These include the film CrazySexyCool: The TLC Story, where she played Perri "Pebbles" Reid. She also had roles in TV series like Criminal Minds, S.W.A.T., and Hawaii Five-0. In movies, you might have seen her in White Chicks and Madea's Family Reunion. Early Life and Education

Rochelle Aytes was born in Harlem, New York City. She went to Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School, which is famous for arts. Later, she earned a degree in Fine Arts from the State University of New York at Purchase college. Before becoming an actress, Rochelle started her career as a model. She appeared in commercials for big brands like McDonald's, L'Oreal, Coca-Cola, and Mercedes-Benz.

Starting Her Acting Career

Rochelle began her acting journey by appearing in commercials. Her first TV role was as a hostess in an episode of "... and the City" in 2003. This led to other small parts in shows such as "Jonny Zero" and "Half & Half."

Her first movie role was in the 2004 comedy White Chicks, where she played Denise Porter. She also played Lisa Breaux in Tyler Perry's Madea's Family Reunion. In this film, her character was in a difficult relationship. Rochelle also provided the voice for the character Rochelle in the video game Left 4 Dead 2.

In 2007, Aytes was a guest star in the Fox series Bones. She played Felicia Saroyan, the sister of a lab supervisor. She also appeared in the independent film Trick 'r Treat and the Fox series Drive. She played Tara Kole in the CBS show NCIS.

From 2009 to 2010, Rochelle Aytes was a main cast member in the ABC drama series The Forgotten. She played Detective Grace Russell, who worked with a volunteer group to solve cases of missing people.

When Shemar Moore moved to the show S.W.A.T., Rochelle Aytes joined him. She was cast as Nichelle Carmichael, the girlfriend of Moore's character, Hondo. She became a main cast member on S.W.A.T. in its sixth season.

In 2024, Aytes was cast in a main role for the CBS medical-mystery series Watson. She plays Dr. Mary Morstan, who is Dr. Watson's ex-wife in the show. Because of this new role, she is expected to appear less often on S.W.A.T..
