The Roger's ant, also known as Hypoponera punctatissima, is a tiny ant species. It belongs to the ant family called Formicidae. This ant was first described by a scientist named Roger in 1859.

Subspecies of Roger's Ant
The Roger's ant has three known subspecies. They are all part of the Hypoponera punctatissima species:

- Hypoponera punctatissima jugata (described by Forel in 1892)
- Hypoponera punctatissima punctatissima (the original group, described by Roger in 1859)
