Jerome Carrington, known as Rome Cee, is an American rapper. He was born on December 25, 1982. Rome Cee comes from Baltimore, MD. He became known for his music in the early 2010s. Many people saw him as a promising talent in Baltimore hip-hop. He released several projects on his own. Later, he joined the Baltimore music label Under Sound Music.

Early Life
Rome Cee's father was in the military. His family moved often because of this. Eventually, they returned to their hometown of Baltimore. Rome Cee went to Walbrook High School in Baltimore.
Music Journey
In 2010, Rome Cee started getting attention for his music. He released two "FreEPs" (free extended plays) and a song with Justin Ambush. These were all available on his Band Camp page. After joining Under Sound Music, he gained more local fans.
His fourth music project was called The Extra Mile. This album featured the rapper Sean Price. The Extra Mile was voted the best album in the 2011 Best of Baltimore issue by Baltimore City Paper. In November 2009, Rome Cee performed before Juelz Santana at the Velvet Rope in Baltimore City. In 2011, he was also part of The Mid-Atlantic Mic Session compilation. This album featured many different artists from Baltimore.
