Early Roles in Government
From 2012 to 2015, Rosalía Gonzalo worked as the chief of staff for Cristina Cifuentes. At that time, Cristina Cifuentes was in charge of the Spanish Government's office in the Community of Madrid.
Becoming a Member of Parliament
In 2015, Rosalía Gonzalo was chosen to be a Member of Parliament (MP). She was elected during the regional election in Madrid as part of the People's Party. After this, she became the First Secretary of the regional parliament's board.
Serving as a Minister
In September 2017, Cristina Cifuentes chose Rosalía Gonzalo to be a Minister. She became the Minister of Transport, Housing, and Infrastructures for the Community of Madrid. She continued to hold this important job in the new government formed in May 2018.
