Rosario de Mora is a small town, also called a municipality, located in the San Salvador department of El Salvador. In 2007, a survey showed that about 11,377 people lived there.
History of Rosario de Mora
This area has an interesting past. In 1807, the place was known as "The Rosary." It was a farm that belonged to the nearby town of Panchimalco.
Over time, "The Rosary" grew and became its own small community. On April 7, 1894, it officially received its current name, Rosario de Mora.
