Rosemary Georgeson is a talented artist, filmmaker, and storyteller. She is from the Coast Salish and Sahtu Dene Indigenous peoples. Rosemary was born on Galiano Island in British Columbia, Canada.

Her work includes making films, plays for the theatre, and radio shows. She also has a passion for cooking. From 2002 to 2011, Rosemary was the Aboriginal Community Director for Urban Ink Productions. She helped the company since it started in 2001. In 2014, she became the Aboriginal Storyteller in Residence at the Vancouver Public Library.

Much of Rosemary's work shares the stories of Indigenous women. She highlights their important contributions to the fishing industry. These stories were often not recorded before. Rosemary grew up in a fishing family on Galiano Island. She spent many years working and living on fishing boats. A key part of her work is teaming up with other artists and people from the community.

Squaw Hall: A Community Remembers (2011)

Rosemary worked on this project with Twin Fish Theatre company. They are from Nelson, British Columbia. The "Squaw Hall Project" took two years to complete. It included a film called A Community Remembers. It also had a theatre play called Damned if you do, What if you don't.

Both parts of the project were made with young people and elders. They lived in Williams Lake, British Columbia. Community members from the Secwepemc, Carrier, and Tsilhqot'in nations helped guide Rosemary.

We Have Stories: Women in Fish (2013)

This is a documentary film. It explores the important roles of women in British Columbia's fishing industry. The film shares their experiences and contributions.
