Rosanna Alish Waterland (born 30 May 1986) is an Australian comedian, author, TV writer, and actress. She became well-known in 2013 for her funny online reviews of the TV show The Bachelor Australia. She has also written popular books like The Anti Cool Girl.

Early Life and Overcoming Challenges
Rosie Waterland was born in New South Wales, Australia, on May 30, 1986. She is the second of four sisters.
Rosie had a very difficult childhood. Because of her family's problems, she moved many times and lived in over 100 different houses. She even lived with foster parents for a while. She also attended 20 different schools. These experiences shaped her life and her work as a writer and comedian.
Career in Television
Waterland first became popular in 2013. She wrote funny recaps of the first season of The Bachelor Australia that many people enjoyed.
She has also worked as a writer and actress on several Australian TV shows. These include Tonightly with Tom Ballard on ABC and Sisters on Channel Ten. In 2016, she co-created and starred in a show called What's Going On: With Jamila Rizvi and Rosie Waterland.
Successful Books
Waterland's first book, The Anti Cool Girl, was released in 2015. It was a huge success and was nominated for many awards. It won the People's Choice Award for Best New Writer of the Year at the Australian Book Industry Awards. The book sold over 45,000 copies in just a few months.

Popular Podcasts
In 2017, Waterland created a podcast based on her first book. It was called Mum Says My Memoir Is A Lie. The podcast was a big hit, reaching the top of the iTunes podcast chart in its first week. It also won an award for Best Original Podcast.
In 2019, she started another podcast called Just The Gist. This show won the Australian Podcast Award for Best Entertainment Podcast in 2020.
Personal Life
As an adult, Waterland became very close with her three sisters. She also reconnected with her mother before she passed away in 2024.
