Oenothera rosea, also known as the rosy evening-primrose, is a beautiful plant. People also call it the rose evening primrose, pink evening primrose, or Rose of Mexico. This plant belongs to a group of plants called Oenothera. You can find it growing naturally in northern Mexico and the state of Texas in the United States.

What Does It Look Like?

The Oenothera rosea plant has pretty flowers. Each flower is usually less than 2.5 cm (0.98 in) (about 1 inch) across. The color of these flowers can be different shades, from a light pink to a deeper red.
