Rottumerplaat is one of the West Frisian Islands, also known as the Wadden Islands in Dutch. These islands form a long chain along the coast of the Netherlands. You can find Rottumerplaat west of another small island called Rottumeroog. To its east is the island of Schiermonnikoog.
