Roz Weston facts for kids

Roz Weston is a Canadian TV and radio host, and also an author. He is well-known for being an entertainment reporter on ET Canada. He also co-hosts The Roz and Mocha Show on Toronto's CKIS-FM radio station.

Roz Weston started his career by working as an intern with famous radio host Howard Stern. Later, he became a producer for a morning radio show in Toronto. After that, he joined a TV station called Toronto 1. There, he hosted a live, late-night talk show called Last Call. When that show ended, he moved to another entertainment show on Toronto 1 called The A-List.

In September 2005, Roz Weston joined ET Canada, an entertainment show on Global TV. He became a popular face on the show. On July 8, 2009, he also became a morning show host for Toronto's KiSS 92.5 radio station.

On September 17, 2011, his hometown of Acton, Ontario honored him by naming a street after him.

In 2015, The Globe and Mail reported that Roz Weston practices Transcendental Meditation. He said it helps him feel less overwhelmed and makes long workdays easier.

In December 2016, Roz Weston competed on a special celebrity version of the cooking show Chopped Canada. He finished in second place.

On April 12, 2022, Roz Weston announced he had published his memoirs, a book called A Little Bit Broken. It was released on September 27, 2022, by Penguin Random House. In May 2022, he shared that he was leaving ET Canada after 17 years. His last day on the show was June 23, 2022.

His Personal Life

Roz Weston married his longtime girlfriend, Katherine Holland, in the summer of 2023. They have a daughter named Roxy.

In 2015, Weston and Holland appeared on an episode of the TV show Income Property. This happened after they bought a property to rent out.
