Rozana Radi (born on July 6, 1979) is a talented Albanian actress, singer, and television host. She is well-known for winning the popular music competition Kënga Magjike in both 2016 and 2024. Rozana also hosts the afternoon TV show Një Gotë Rosè on MCN TV. In December 2023, she joined Big Brother VIP Albania 4 as a contestant. She made it all the way to the final, finishing as the runner-up.

Early Life and First Steps in Music

Rozana Radi was born on July 6, 1979, in Tirana, Albania. From a young age, she showed a passion for music and performing. She has released many popular songs in Albania. Rozana has also worked with other famous Albanian artists. For example, she teamed up with rapper Noizy for the songs "Fly" and "Mr. Yesterday."

In 2009, Rozana first took part in Kënga Magjike. She performed the song "Femër" and finished in 10th place. She also won an award for her great singing style. The next year, in 2010, she returned to Kënga Magjike with Ramadan Krasniqi. They sang "Valsi i tradhtisë." She competed again in 2011 with rapper Mc Kresha and their song "Jabadabadu."

In May 2012, she released a beautiful ballad called "Tepër jemi dashtë" with the band Aragona. That summer, she released "O sa mirë me qenë shqiptar." Later in 2012, she participated in Kënga Magjike once more with "Ti s'ke zemër." She earned an award for the best performance in that competition.

Rozana Radi continued her success in 2013 by competing in Kënga Magjike with her song "Bekim." She reached the semi-finals and then the grand final. In the final, she finished in eighth place.

Her biggest win came in 2016 when she performed "Ma thuaj ti" at Kënga Magjike. Rozana wrote this song herself with Elgit Doda. She made it to the finals and, after all the votes, she was crowned the winner!

In December 2017, Rozana contributed to Festivali i Këngës. She wrote the lyrics for Manjola Nallbani's song "I njëjti qiell."

Rozana also has acting experience. In 2009, she starred in an Albanian short film called Mira. The film was produced by Dhimitër Ismajlaj. Rozana acted alongside Tinka Kurti and other talented actors. Mira was shown at the Real to Reel International Film Festival in the United States in July 2009. The film was shot in Tirana.

On December 22, 2023, a song called "Zemrën n'dorë" was chosen to represent Albania in the Eurovision Song Contest 2024. Rozana Radi helped write this song with Besa Kokëdhima, Kledi Bahiti, and Petrit Sefaj. However, the lyrics she co-wrote were later changed to English for the contest.

In 2024, Rozana Radi won Kënga Magjike again, showing her lasting talent and popularity.

Rozana Radi comes from a musical family. Her uncle, Françesk Radi, was also a well-known singer. Rozana is currently engaged to an Albanian police officer named Shpëtim Karakushi.
