Ryan grew up in South Carolina. They first acted in a play when they were in elementary school. Even though Ryan enjoyed acting, they decided to focus on learning to play the violin instead.
Later, they earned a special degree in arts administration from the Art Institute of Chicago. This degree helps people manage art organizations.
