Scientists found this moon in 2006. It was discovered by a team of astronomers: Scott S. Sheppard, David C. Jewitt, Jan Kleyna, and Brian G. Marsden. They announced their discovery on June 26, 2006, after looking at pictures taken between January and April of that year.

This little moon is about 6 kilometres wide. That's like the length of 60 football fields!
It orbits Saturn very far away, at an average distance of about 21 million kilometres. To give you an idea, that's more than 50 times the distance from the Earth to our Moon!
S/2006 S 3 takes a very long time to go around Saturn, about 1,142 days. That's more than three years for one trip! Its path around Saturn is also quite tilted and not a perfect circle.
