First Generation (1993–2002): The Original Design
The first version of the SEAT Córdoba was made from 1993 to 2002. It was built on a special car platform called the Volkswagen Group A0 platform. This platform was also used for other popular cars like the Volkswagen Polo.
Different Styles of the First Córdoba
The SEAT Córdoba came in a few different body styles, giving people choices for what they needed.
- Two-door saloon: This version had two doors and a separate trunk. It was often called the Córdoba SX.
- Four-door saloon: This was a more common family car with four doors and a trunk.
- Five-door station wagon: This style, known as the Córdoba Vario, had five doors and a longer back area for more storage, like a small estate car.

Petrol Engines

The second generation of the SEAT Córdoba was introduced in 2002 and produced until 2009. This version had a more modern look and updated features. It was mainly available as a four-door saloon.

Petrol Engines
- Petrol engines included 1.2, 1.4, and 1.6 liters.

- Diesel options were 1.4 TDI and 1.9 SDI/TDI.
- These diesel engines were known for being fuel-efficient. The most powerful 1.9 TDI engine could produce up to 131 horsepower.
