Süleyman Sabri Yirmibeşoğlu (born September 1, 1928 – died January 2, 2016) was a Turkish general. He held an important position as the Secretary-General of the National Security Council from 1988 to 1990.

Sabri Yirmibeşoğlu began his military career in 1946. He served in the Turkish Army for many years, reaching the high rank of General.
Early Roles and Special Forces
From 1974 to 1976, Yirmibeşoğlu was the Chief of Staff, and later the Chief, of the Turkish Armed Forces' Special Warfare Department. This department was involved in special operations. He led special forces activities in Northern Cyprus during the Turkish Operations in July and August 1974.
Key Military and Government Positions
During the 1970s and 1980s, General Yirmibeşoğlu held several important roles:
- He worked in intelligence for NATO in Naples, Italy, from 1976 to 1978.
- He commanded the 9th Division in Sarıkamış from 1978 to 1980.
- He was the Chief of Logistics for the Army Command in Ankara from 1980 to 1982.
- He served as Deputy Secretary in the Ministry of Defense in Ankara in 1982.
- In 1983, he was the Commander of the 4th Corps in Ankara.
Later Leadership Roles
General Yirmibeşoğlu continued to take on more responsibilities:
- From 1984 to 1986, he was the Chief of Operations for the Turkish General Staff in Ankara.
- He was promoted and became the Commander of the 3rd Army in Erzincan from 1986 to 1988.
- His final major role was as the Secretary-General of the National Security Council in Ankara, serving from 1988 to 1990.
After his time at the National Security Council, he retired from military service in 1991.
